This is the Western Canada Loop with a “Wow” factor where there is the beauty of Nature to discover and explore, from the prairies to the famous Inside Passage and from the wonderful vineyards in the middle of Canada’s only desert area to the great Rocky Mountain peaks & alpine lakes! While you are on this exceptional journey there will be unexpected encounters with our Wildlife, from Bears & Moose to Cariboo, Wapiti or Bighorn Sheeps in the mountains, Whales or Bald Eagles on or near the Coast.

Day 1: Arrival in Vancouver

Transfer from the airport to your hotel. In the evening the group will meet to dis- cuss the tour itinerary with the tour guide. Overnight at the Sandman Inn Vancouver Airport.

Day 2: Vancouver – Manning Prov. Park – Penticton

We depart from Vancouver and go on to Manning Provincial Park and then on to the Okanagan Valley. Overnight at the Sandman Inn in Penticton.

Day 3: Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon, Revelstoke

On our way through the Okanagan Valley a stop will be made in Summerland where we will visit one of the well-known winer- ies in the area. Around noon we will reach Vernon where we visit historic O’Keefe Ranch which was founded in 1867. In the early evening we reach Revelstoke; our hotel is the Regent Inn.

Day 4: Revelstoke, Golden, Banff, Canmore

We continue to the Rocky Mountains today. At Rogers Pass we visit the informa- tive Visitor Centre, and in Yoho National Park a stop is made at the Natural Bridge and at beautiful Emerald Lake. There is time for a stroll along the lake or for a canoe trip (optional). We then continue to Canmore where we spend two nights at the Rocky Mountain Inn..



Day 5: Banff National Park

The entire day is spent touring Banff and Banff National Park. We visit famous Lake Louise and Lake Moraine, and in the after- noon there will be some time at leisure to explore the town of Banff on an individual basis.

Day 6: Banff – Jasper

Today we travel along the Icefields Parkway. With its many beautiful lakes and waterfalls it is probably the most scenic route in the Rocky Mountains. At the Columbia Icefield you have the opportunity to take a tour on the Glacier (optional). Onto Jasper for overnight at Jasper House Bungalows.

Day 7: Jasper, Maligne Canyon, Prince George

In the morning we will visit spectacular Maligne Canyon. A short hike will take us to breathtaking views of the Canyon. On our way to Prince George we will enjoy great views of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Overnight at the Ramada Hotel in Prince George.



Day 8: Prince George – Smithers

The drive from Prince George to Smithers will give you a good impression of the vastness of the country – trees and little lakes as far as the eye can see! Overnight at the Hudson Bay Lodge in Smithers.

Day 9: Smithers, Hazelton, Terrace, Prince Rupert.

Today’s highlight is a visit to the ‘Ksan In- dian Village in Hazelton. The reconstructed Indian Village consists of  five traditional longhouses and several totem poles. We then continue to Prince Rupert where we overnight at the Prince Rupert Hotel

Day 10: Inside Passage to Vancouver Island

Today we travel the world famous Inside Passage from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy. During the 15-hour-trip there are good opportunities to watch wildlife: bald eagles, dolphins, sea otters and sometimes even whales. In the late evening we arrive in Port Hardy where our hotel is the Quarterdeck Inn.

Day 11: Port Hardy – Campbell River

Depart from Port Hardy and to the small and very picturesque  shing village of Telegraph Cove. From there we take a whale-watching trip to view killer whales in their natural habitat. Later, we go to Campbell River where we overnight at the Anchor Inn.

Day 12: Campbell River, Duncan, Victoria

Depart from Campbell River and continue to Victoria today. En route, we make a little detour to visit Cathedral Grove Park. This Park is famous for its huge, 800-year-old douglas  rs. In the afternoon there is time for a stroll through Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. We overnight at the Embassy Inn.

Day 13: Victoria Ferry Ride to Vancouver

The morning will be at leisure to explore Victoria on an individual basis. In the afternoon we drive along the Marine Scenic Drive to the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay. In Vancouver we will stay at the Sandman Hotel Downtown for two nights.

Day 14: Vancouver 

Today will be at leisure to explore the city. Don’t miss the great view of the city from the top of the Harbour Building and take a stroll along Robson Street.

Day 15: Vancouver Departure

Transfer to the airport and  flight back home.
